We had an amazing fun filled week in Vegas. We always try to get out to Vegas at least once every 2 years. We actually went out for Aidan's hip hop Nationals competition so we decided to take a few more days off for R&R.

I had so much fun packing because I knew how hot the weather would be so it would be fun and challenging at the same time. I knew that I'd be wearing lots of hats so I just brought what I could put inside my hat box. I also packed a pair of flats along with a matching pair of heels because there would be so much walking to do. I packed my loving pair of chucks but I actually never wore them. I always go a little crazy with wardrobe because depending on the day, weather, event, and my mood for the day, I always bring plenty of options. I always pack at least 3 little black dresses (short, long, mid cuts), 2 clutches and at least 3 different bags.  As for jewelry, I have to admit, I went a little crazy for this trip, but I had lots of options! I did change my nail polish 3 times and it became an extra accessory!

While we were there, we also attended the KARtv Award and Benefits Live Show featuring live performances from MOS Wanted Crew and a few other popular groups.  We just wanted to see BAM (Brian Martin) our friend and his group and we did just that. Aidan finally got to meet Brian and he was so ecstatic, yet very shy.

I just wanted to announce that Aidan and his little group did win 1st Place for their hip hip division so that was an awesome win since he only had 1 number.  The trip was amazing and we had a wonderful time with The Talent Factory and representing such an amazing studio.

We spent the rest of our time walking the strip and just enjoying all the new addition that the strip has on a yearly basis. Here are just a few shots from our trip (I had over 1500 pictures... I know!) so if you want to see more, feel free to visit my facebook page.

Thursday Rush and Friday Clean Up...

It was a very long day yesterday.  I had my meeting early so I hit the road about 1.5 hours in advance.  In LA, you always have to plan at least 1.5 to 2 hours ahead depending on where you go and when you go.  I used to travel out to Beverly Hills and I'd plan to go at least 3 hours ahead because once I got off the freeway it took me another 30 minutes just to get to my destination.  It was so crazy to say the least.  As a Stylist, you'd think I'd be used to this by now right? Not really, because you can never get used to the traffic here.  It is what it is.  I met up with my bestie, Jesse for lunch and we caught up on life and loves, then we parted ways because I had to rush back to take care of some ATF errands and get ready for Aidan's evening banquet with The Talent Factory.  The Showstoppers are the TF Competition Team that's all heading out to Vegas next week for Nationals.  Aidan is the only boy in the whole Showstopper group so all the lovely ladies really made him feel loved.  Aidan was awarded last night with a Special "Future MJ"! award.. What an honor!

Today is "end of week catch up and clean up" day.  I've had such a busy week so today I'm just staying in to relax a bit.  I have lots of emails to reply to, phone calls to return, paperwork to fill out and the rest of the day is dedicated to cleaning house.  I've also been really bad at drinking my 8 glasses of water a day and have felt pretty dehydrated... Today is the day to stay in and hydrate, mask and re-do my nails... Me day!
