TGIF....

What a great evening it is. I find myself looking forward to Friday's "Concert in the Park" here at our local park. Tonight was a tribute band to Tim McGraw and next week will be a tribute band to "Chicago". We get to spend time with our friends and family and just hang out. Tonight was a little chilly so we didn't hang out too long afterwards but nonetheless, it was still fun to get ready and see one another. This weekend is going to be really exciting because we have our brother and sister in law coming into town. We have lots of fun things planned such as "girl time", wine tasting, visiting a cousin nearby and just catching up...One of the most exciting part about this coming weekend is Sunday the 29th when my husband and I finally get baptized. It's been a very long time but it's finally here and I can't wait!

Black and White Weekend...

What an amazing weekend. We started Friday night with "Concert at the Park" with a Beatles Tribute band with friends and family just relaxing and catching up. Saturday I got a last minute call from my Jameson's mom (my nephew from Minnesota visiting his mom for the summer) that they were in LA so we rushed out to see him and his family. The rest of the weekend was spent on work but anything that has to deal with my Fashion or Production is always fun. This weekend was also my High School's 20th year reunion but due to the last minute production meetings, I wasn't able to attend. Perhaps I'll attend the next get together. 

Today was an amazing day because I spent it with one of my besties and business partner, Jesse Lopez. We always have the best time together. We also had an impromptu meet up with Brandt, our dear friend from The Jay Leno Show, for a fun prop pulling session along with lunch in Pasadena.  I love hanging out with my boys because they are just a ball of fun. Like I said, it never feels like work but we do work lol.  After work, I rushed home, picked up my boys and headed out to Pala for a dinner of all you can eat crab with more friends and family... Wow, a fun filled weekend.. AND I worked.. Enjoyed every minute of it. 

Jesse and I are pulling prop and wardrobe for a TV production we are shooting this coming weekend in Burbank. The show is so halarious and It's going to be so fun because we have such an amazing ensemble, cast and crew. Some of them you will know and I'll talk more about it later with behind the scenes pictures and video... I can't wait to share more... 

Today was a black and white day with an acute accent of neon pink nails and a pop of orange from my watch...

Vintage Teal...

It's been so hot this past week so staying inside my AC home is the number one ideal. I had some work to attend to, some pick up for ATF and a lunch date with one of my best friends so I had to leave the house for a few hours. I also got two amazing calls today for more work and I'm just so blessed with what is coming my way.  More on that later... 

You can't really see the details of this dress because I wore my vintage teal jacket over it.  The dress has a racer back sleeveless cut and the dress has an empire waistline.  The dress is very flowy and would be such a great dress for dancing in stilettos lol...  I don't know where I put my blow dryer (since Vegas) so I've been putting my hair in a bun and just throwing on my hats. The weather doesn't make me want to put too much products in my hair but I didn't even realize how nice it was today. My sunnies and purse are also vintage! As you can tell, I love mixing highs and lows as long as it makes sense. I love wedges because I can still add height without the discomfort of a pair of heels. Wedges make walking so much more comfortable and fashionable.

A "mini" dash of pink

Yesterday was a spur of the moment kind of day.  We were planning on visiting some family members in LA but I was supposed to hang out with my BFF (She didn't know haha).  Well, little did I know but the BFF's phone was lost (like always) so I never got ahold of her.  The boys were heading out to the beach (I've already gone to twice within the last month) so I just wasn't in the mood to be at the beach again. We were at Huntington in Orange County, Venice in LA then now they wanted to head out to Santa Monica. I really shouldn't complain right? I'm not, but I just didn't want to go to the beach because tomorrow we'll be heading out to our timeshare hotel in Vegas with a gigantic pool.  Once again,  we will be in the water because this pool is just super super amazing..(Photos to come!) - No wonder I'm so dark! So anyway, the beach was the last thing on my mind.. until they said "Korean BBQ!" - Yeah it's my weakness! I waited for the BFF's call which never came so I just "tagged" along with my boys.  It was hot and I wasn't planning on getting into the water so I just slipped on this mini skirt I've had in my closet for several months now along with my ever so favorite fedora and off we went.  It's the first mini I've worn all summer!
